Join us for this special Sunday gathering where both campuses unite for a day filled with food, fellowship, and fun! We’ll enjoy a BBQ lunch and potluck, along with bounce houses and a splash pad for the kids, lawn games and cornhole tournament, and a raffle. Bring a jar of jelly to help support the Sandy Community Action Center food pantry!
Schedule of Events
11:00am – Picnic Begins
- Visit Welcome Booth for name tags, Bingo cards, and raffle tickets.
- Enjoy lawn games, splash pad, bounce houses.
11:30am – Lunch
- Hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks provided.
- Bring your favorite side dish to share.
1:00pm – Cornhole tournament begins
- Continued fun in the sun with activities and fellowship.
- Tournament trophy awarded and raffle winners announced after tournament.
A few notes:
- Free public parking lots and street parking are available.
- There are a few trees for shade and we will have some canopies set up too. We encourage you to bring your own canopy if you have one and a lawn chair or picnic blanket for seating.
- Bring a change of clothes and/or a towel if you plan to get wet. Don’t forget sunscreen!
- Public restrooms are on site.
- Childcare is not provided.
- There will be no church services at the Gresham or Sandy campuses on this day.
We need help with:
- Set up and clean up before and after the event.
- Side dishes and desserts
- Cornhole boards for the tournament
