There are many ways to be the church and taking some time to have fun together is one of them! Join us on this special Sunday as both campuses come together at Oxbow Regional Park for a day of food, fellowship, and fun! The day will begin with a BBQ lunch. Then, we’ll have some friendly competition with tournaments and activities for both adults and kids. Or, spend time exploring a nature trail, dipping your feet into the Sandy River, or soaking up some sun while chatting with a new friend. There will be no church services at the Pathway Gresham or Sandy campuses this morning.
Just for fun, let’s brighten things up by wearing your favorite COLOR!
Schedule of Events
11:00am Event opens/drop off food for potluck lunch/sign up for tournaments
11:30am–12:30pm Lunch – Hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream, and drinks will be provided. Bring your favorite side dish to share!
12:30-3:00pm Tournaments, activities, and exploration
Important Notes
- The park has a $5 parking fee per vehicle. If you received a yellow parking voucher ahead of time, don’t forget to bring it with you to place on the dash of your car.
- There are some picnic tables in the covered area, but we encourage you to bring your own chair or picnic blanket.
- There is a children’s play area not far from our group site. (childcare not provided)
- River access is down a short but somewhat steep path from our group site. (no lifeguard on duty)
- Please leave your furry friends at home as dogs are not allowed in the park.
- The event ends at 3pm but the park is open until 8pm. Feel free to stay and enjoy the park after the event is over!
