Our Story

1989
Greater Gresham was founded by four families who wanted a church designed to reach lost and unchurched people.

1989
Jeff Iorg comes as Lead Pastor.

Church meets in rented facilities for the first twelve years until moving into its current facility.

1994
Reach 200 in Sunday morning attendance.

1995
Keith Evans comes as Lead Pastor.

1996
Church takes first mission trip to Brazil.

1997
Mt. Hood Baptist Church, Marlon Furtado, Pastor, approaches Greater Gresham with the idea of our two churches merging together. Our current campus was made possible by the sacrificial giving of Greater Gresham members along with land and facilities provided when Mt. Hood Baptist Church joined Greater Gresham in 1997.

1998
Church has its first Giving Campaign.

1999
Church celebrates its 10th anniversary by breaking ground on property.

2001
Church builds new building and holds first service.

2002
Added Saturday night service (moved to 3 services on weekend).

2005
Moved into Education Building.

2006
First international partner in India.

2010
Started Trinity Church in Happy Valley; Clay Holcomb, Lead Pastor.

Extended international partnerships to Africa and East Asia.

2014
Celebrated 25th Anniversary of Greater Gresham.

2015
Rusty Massey called as Lead Pastor of Trinity Church.

2016
Greater Gresham Baptist Church changed its name to Pathway Church.

2017
Launch of a campus in Sandy, Or.

2019
Keith Evans resigns from Pathway Church and Lance Logue leads in the interim.

2020
Lance Logue called as Lead Pastor of Pathway Church.

2022
Lance Logue resigns as Lead Pastor.

 

2023
Chad Harms called as Lead Pastor of Pathway Church.
