Believe it or not, the holidays are quickly drawing near! Each year Pathway Church looks for ways to bless our neighbors who could use a little support, both locally and internationally, during the holidays as an extension of God’s love and provision. This year we are partnering with two ministries who do just that!
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry through Samaritan’s Purse. It starts with filling shoeboxes with fun toys, school supplies, hygiene items, etc. for children in need around the world ages 2-14. The children not only receive the exciting contents of their box, but they are also given the opportunity to participate in a follow up discipleship program called The Greatest Journey. As a result of what they learn, boys and girls grow in Christ and share with friends and family. This often brings parents, siblings, and friends to accept Christ and become active members in the local church. Families are reached, churches grow, new churches are started, and communities are transformed—and it all starts with your shoebox packed with love!
Stop by the Operation Christmas Child displays in the lobbies of both the Gresham & Sandy campuses for more information and to grab an empty shoebox to fill. Filled boxes can be returned to the display tables, now through November 14.
For those not attending church in-person, shoeboxes can also be filled virtually online by clicking HERE!

Angel Tree Christmas is a ministry through Prison Fellowship. Pathway Church has the opportunity to share the love of Christ in a tangible way and strengthen family bonds by providing personalized gifts and the Gospel to local children on behalf of their incarcerated parents at Christmas. Every Angel Tree child can request a free, easy-to-read copy of the Bible in English or Spanish.
On November 14, both the Gresham and Sandy campuses will have an Angel Tree set up in the lobby and decorated with gift tags. Choose a tag with the gift item you would like to purchase. Wrap the gift and return it to the church by December 5. Gifts will then be prepared for personal delivery in time for Christmas.
Be watching for more information in November about this impactful ministry and the different ways you can participate!
